Park strategy

We have a nice arrangement of 4 days CL at PBH and 5 day 3 park passes with our homeschool group. I know we will have plenty of time to do everything we want and then some, but is there a certain strategy you would have? Any rides that would still be better to do than others?
We have never been and were originally planning a Disney trip, so besides the YouTube video I watched of the parks overview, I am clueless.

You should only really need strategy for Hagrids, and the knowledge to get to the Bourne Stuntacular a bit before the show.

Be aware that Popeye Barges and the Dudley Doright flume will get you fully drenched, and plan accordingly.

You probably want dinner reservations, especially around park close and more especially on Fridays / weekends.
