I will be at WDW July 23-28 with my mom and DS15. Is was an unexpected trip and we will be in a studio at VWL. We wil be purchasing a 3 day park hopper pass and a single Typhoon Lagoon ticket. We will have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as our full days. I am aware that it will be hot and crowded, but we have visited WDW in JUne and July before.

Here is where I need some help in planning-although I have been to WDW 30+ times, I am having trouble figuring out the best days for parks.

We will NOT:
be hitting parks commando style
we don't want the extra hours after the park closes
we don't use the extra morning hour.

What we DO like to do is:
enjoy early morning coffee and the paper at VWL
get to a park at regular opening times
ride some favorites before the crowds really hit
stroll around and take note of the little details the parks offer
head back to the resort for a swim
go to another park late afternoon until closing.

Can you suggest the best parks for certain days/evenings? At the age of DS, we will spend most time at MGM and Epcot. Don't forget, one day is completley set aside for Typhoon Lagoon.

Thanks so much! I don't know why this is so difficult this trip.

I've never toured during June or July so I'm just going to bump this back to page one so that some of veterans can offer advice.

Hi! Go to www.touringplans.com and there is a list of the best days to do what park, and also which parks to avoid. If you are not using EMH, I might try to avoid that park for the day. Also, you might do better in the morning in the same park that was open late the night before. Good luck!

Avoid the MK AT ALL COSTS Saturday thru Monday. Especially Monday. Go Tuesday or Thursday. You can figure out the rest by going to touringplans.com. Get there at opening to have fun and expect the nastiness to begin at 11 AM. That said, be efficient in the mornings with the popular attractions.
