Hi guys

First, sorry if these questions have already been asked - I tried searching the forum but couldn't find what I was looking for. I have a quick couple of questions about the park and resort photo shoots.

1 - The PassPorter book has a useful list of the 3 available routes for the Magic Kingdom photo shoot. Does anyone know if these are at all even a teeny bit flexible? I am thinking probably not, but we would really like the photos infront of the Tangled tower, but would prefer another location over Haunted Mansion - route 2 sounds good but I love the Tanged photos.

2 - Does anyone have a list of the available routes in the other parks? Particularly Holywood Studios? I really really want some photos from the Muppets Courtyard, so I am really hoping that is possible! I also saw some cool photos from the Toy Story area.

3 - For the resort photo shoot, is that in wedding attire or normal clothes? I am sure I read somewhere that they do not like people wearing their wedding clothes for the resort shoots, but maybe I just imagined that..

Thanks so much for any info anyone has =)

xXx

1) I'm not sure they added the routes after our shoots. I think my sister @Disney_Alli went slightly off-route but I can't remember specifically where

2) the other parks don't have routes as they are a lot less popular so there isn't as much demand for the "common" photo spots

3) I believe you can do the resort shoots in either wedding attire or regular clothes but others will know better

If you don't want to go to one of the stops on your chosen MK route, they can spend that time somewhere else nearby, but they wouldn't be able to, say, go all the way across the park to Splash Mountain or something. Your photographer will have some ideas for alternative locations.

You can wear wedding attire at a resort photo session. You can also hire an outside photographer for a resort photo session—you don't have to use Disney.

For other parks, the big restriction is time. We're doing AK and Epcot this fall, and neither has a specific route. We were just told we get one hour so pick wisely and don't try to go for the spot furthest from where you enter for the shoot basically.

For Epcot, we were told it is the world showcase only, but that might be because it is our second shoot of the morning. I did not clarify with DFAP if we did Epcot only if we could do future world. We were also advised pavilions like Norway where there are people coming for breakfast ADRs are not guaranteed to be people free for pictures if we were so inclined to get pictures there.

AK is amazing, some of my favourite photos are from our AK shoot!! You'll love it!

I did route 2 I believe and we swapped out the Beauty and the Beast stuff for time in from on Tangled. I'll post some pictures later if you want.

Thanks so much guys! So helpful as always! If you have some pics Disney_Alli I would love to see! I have found it pretty hard trying to find AK photos online. Is it mainly the scenic areas of Animal Kingdom they take photos in? Or do they manage to take any with the animals in the background?

We cant decide about doing a resort shoot. Doing a 2 park shoot would probably be more what we are after. We don't even know what resort we will be staying at yet, possibly Art of Animation so the photos there wouldn't be too 'fancy' I don't think

:)

Here are some of our resort shoot. We were not in wedding attire for it (maybe I should have mentioned that earlier)

I only have this one on my phone. I'll pull some more off FB and post them. We do have a set with the castle in the background

Okay here we go...

We did some down along the water's edge too but if I had to bet I'd say they're probably not doing those anymore.

Wow those Animal Kingdom shots are gorgeous! And those resort photos are beautiful! Now its gonna be so hard to decide what to do!! Haha

Thanks so much for sharing those, honestly so helpful!

We did our Engagement photos in Germany, Italy, and Morocco at Epcot and didn't have a lot of structure at all regarding where we had pics- just sort of wandered around with photographers until they saw something worth shooting : )

For our MK shoot, we did the 2nd route I believe (whichever had Beast's Castle in it) but our photographer was flexible and wandered around with us and got a few shots in areas he'd always wanted to try (inside Gaston's Tavern, for example)
