Park Reservations

Hi, hopefully this is a quick question. We have bookd HK Disneyland Hotel and I purchased 2 day Park Tickets at the same time. I can see my hotel resrvation on the DL website by entering the Booking Confirmation Number, but this doesn't work to activate the park tickets. There is no other reference on the email.
I assume we will receieve the Park tickets when we check in but what about the Park Reservations? We plan to arrive at noon, leave the bags with the hotel and go round the park that day, then a whole day the next day, but is it possible to do that if I can't make Park Reservations?
Was going to email the Hotel, but thought I would check with you wise people first.

Also, should we make dining reservations? We're there Monday to Wednesday if that makes a difference.

I don't know how they handle park reservations attached to hotel bookings but lack of park reservations is generally not something you have to worry about. Park reservations run out less than 5 days a year and it's usually something like New Years Eve.

There's only three places where dining reservations are really needed:
1. Character dinner buffet at Enchanted Garden
2. Dim sum set at Crystal Lotus
3. River View Cafe during Halloween (the restaurant is almost always closed outside of Halloween and the few days of the Lunar New Year)

If you really want to do a Momentous Viewing Package at Explorers Cafe or afternoon tea (Plaza Inn or Walt's Cafe), you could also do dining reservations for the peace of mind. They're unlikely to be sold out on a normal weekday but sometimes there would be a wait to get in. I wouldn't bother with reservations for anywhere else.

I also bought tickets as part of a hotel package and was trying to figure out how to make the park reservations. I ended up emailing and they told me since we are staying on property we are guaranteed entry and they will make our reservations and provide us with tickets at check-in.
