Hi, are we allowed to have more than one park reservation on the same day? I didn't think that was allowed but I just updated my plans and it seems to be allowing me to have a park reservation at MK and Epcot on the same day...

I have not seen any updates to that effect. My DD who arrived today was not able to do it and we just booked her Wednesday when she had to postpone her Ireland trip.

Thanks Sandisw, it appears I have two park reservation for the same day. I even got an e-mail confirmation of the new park reservation. I'm wondering if I don't keep the MK reservation if I will have trouble entering Epcot? I'm thinking I should probably cancel MK just to be on the safe side.

I seem to remember possibly something like this happening with AP holders. You can make on reservation under the allowed AP limit and then another as being a resort guest. I thought they had closed this loophole.

Thanks for that insight. That must be the case with me since I have an annual pass and I will be a resort guest. Do you think if I don't keep the MK reservation I will have a problem getting into Epcot? I have an early dinner reservation at Epcot which is why I made the new park reservation.

Do you need the MK reservation? If you won't be going there before Epcot then I'd cancel. 1 - it will be no issue for you and 2 - it opens up a reservation spot for another AP holder.

I agree with Kathy above. I also had two park reservations for several days, due to the changeover in how APs book park pass reservations. I just canceled the extra ones and kept the ones I wanted (that were booked using the appropriate AP bucket, resort guest vs. offsite).

We had this happen when I wanted to change from MK to DHS. Think I used the modify option. Also got confirming email. Ended up with both reservations in MDE. After a few days (thought it would clear on its own, bit it didn't), I cancelled the MK to be safe. No idea if it would have mattered, but like you, I didn't want the hassle if it did.

If youre using ILL or Genie$, I'd fix this. Both of these sytems match up to park reservations, and I don't imagine Disney IT handling this well.

How long ago did you make the original park reservation? When they switched systems (when they brought APs back) if you had one booked as a hotel guest on the previous system you could also make one as an AP in the new system. I played it safe and cancelled all of ours from the original system.

Yes you will. We were an AP couple staying at Boardwalk Villas, had reservations for MK on our 4th day, were exhausted, slept in and went to Epcot after 2pm. They would not let us in because we did not go to our MK reservation that day! They had to get Guest Services do some magic, void the first reservation and then make a new reservation for Epcot. What a pain!

I just tried to cancel my MK reservation and of course the system appears to be down at this time. I will have to try again latter. I appreciate all the responses. I was considering going to MK and Epcot but I think it might be nice to just take it easy in the morning and go to Epcot later in the day. Thanks again!

I just cancelled my reservation for MK so I now only have one reservation for that day at Epcot. I feel much better now that I don't have to worry about rushing around trying to go to both parks and hopefully someone else can make good use of the space I just freed up. ::MinnieMo
