Park Reservations

I think a lot of folks feel that way. Wait till late in the game then see what's what. We are going this route. We park hop a-lot. It's why we are staying at BWI this year. No reason to be near Epcot and HS if I can't just swing in when we want.

I have not been keeping up with the reservation system news, but have the reservation system details been announced yet?

We have 10 day park hopper+ tickets, rescheduled from now (we'd be there NOW) to August 2-12. If I can get even 7 days in the parks, I'll be OK (as long as the PH+ gets refunded-I'd like resort credit) because the cost difference isn't that much and I usually like a couple off days from the parks. Might even hit up UO if the crowds are still low. We're DVC so the resort is a plus for us-pools, bars, etc. I just want a vacation. I NEED a vacation

If I have to lay there in a cabana for a week at the boulder ridge pool and complain to everyone that i am a DVC member, AP, and DCL platinum, I will....

at this point I just want to be there. I am sure we will all be accommodated somehow. Give them a break, this has never happened

We went through the reservation process for the opening of Galaxy's edge at Disneyland last year and I rather expect this to be similar. Disney resort guests automatically got a reservation assigned to them. Off-site guests had one shot at getting reservations when they opened up. All reservations were gone within two hours. We were off-site and very happy to get the reservation. First there was a waiting room on the website and then it opened up to a virtual queue that kept refreshing and about a half hour after reservations started, my screen popped up the opportunity to make a reservation. Some people accidentally only reserved access for one person (there was a spot to click to add more people that was easily missed) and after a bit of uncertainty Disney modified those reservations.
