We have a reservation with a great rate for nest year, 2021 - late April into early May
I was able to link my Dolphin resort to the system in My Disney Experience

I do not have WDW Park tickets yet - so I can not do Park entrance reservations :(

We do not want to go to WDW till their is a COVID-19 vaccine.
We are in our 60's

So far our expenses are reimbursable.
I do no want to buy a 5 day park pass for us and not be able to return it.

If we wait til January 2021 and a vaccine is available -
Do you think we would still need Park entrance passes ?
Would Park hopping be back to use ?

If we still need Park Entrance passes - Could we get them 3 1/2 months in advance, or
will we be limited on what parks we could visit ?

OR .. should we wait till 2022 ?

Please advise

Nobody has answers to these questions. If you will only go if there is a vaccine, I would just wait it out and see what the park reservation and park hopping situation is at that time. As you said, you can always cancel the reservation and wait until 2022 if the situation isn't ideal for you in 2021.

I bought a 6-day ticket for my son for November, and later decided to go in December. It was easy enough to change the dates online, and since the Dec. starting date cost less than the November one - he changed to a 7-day ticket for no extra charge.

As far as the COVID questions - you have to do what makes you comfortable.

I just bought tickets for March and was able to add park hopper. I am hoping it is allowed by then but I know no one knows for sure yet.
