Park reservation confusion

I didn’t have any issues when I booked reservations in November, so now I’m confused.

When I initially booked my parks, it wouldn’t let me make reservations beyond 3 days (I needed 5). I didn’t understand why, so then I thought maybe I hadn’t linked them to my hotel. So, I cancelled and rebooked using linking to POFQ. But, I just noticed that it lists the pass under Guest, instead of my name as AP holder.

When I visited the Park reservations site on the app, I see two choices

**Park res for all guests (either those with individual passes or AP holder)

**Park Reservations for Annual Passholders Staying at a Disney Resort or Other Select Hotels

I think I did the first one initially, but when it didn’t allow me to reserve past 3 days, I tried linking to the hotel…and it took, but now the reservations under Future Plans say Guest instead of my name

The e-mail confirmations DO say my name -and I noticed when I go to the reservation calendar that May 1-5 are blocked out. Does all this rambling ultimately mean I’m ok?

Did you pick your name when you made the park reservation? I always have to click who I am making reservations for.

Using the website, you can choose to make park reservations as an AP who is staying onsite. That will let you make them for your entire stay. I don’t know if you can get there from the app.

I did!

The funny thing Is, on the page where it lists the choices to make park reservations like I listed above, it shows my reservations in my name. When I click on “modify reservation” just to check, it lists my name and the details of my AP

Maybe it just always lists the park reservation under guest when it’s linked to the hotel reservation ...

Thank you for reminding me of the site ! I checked my reservations there, and it did list them under Guest...but also under the name (mine) and that it’s ME.

When I click on the actual individual passes, it takes me to the page that lists all my passes, and it lists them under my name, with the confirmation numbers

I’m not sure which page is concerning you & I don’t currently have any park reservations so I don’t have anything to screen shot. But I do remember on our future plans, some things would be listed as 1 guest or 2 guests. But then when I clicked it would show the specific names. I think that happened for both park reservations & lightening lane. So I think what you’re seeing is normal.

I can renew my APs in about 2 weeks & I’ll be making park reservations for our July vacation so I’ll be sure to check what ours shows.
