Just back and I tried the strategy of Park in the morning, pool in the afternoon, and then back to the park at night. Only problem... the pool at the Animal Kingdom Lodge was 90 degrees at 2:00pm not refreshing, it felt cooler when we got out of the pool.
Has Disney made a mistake in making all their pools 4 feet deep. No cold water from the deep end made the main pool at resort more like swimming in a bowl of hot soup.
We had to change our strategy to Parks in the morning followed by Water Parks in the afternoon as the water at the water parks felt like it was being chilled.
Question, are there any deep pools at Disney, or do they all get sun heated as the day goes by and get so hot they are no longer refreshing?
