Park Passes and Room Tickets: One and the Same?

It's been far too long since our last visit and was curious as to the ticket media now used. If you buy a package are MYW tickets on your room key? Why I ask is we plan to split up our days (am with kids, afternoon 1 parent w/kids to resort for swimming/nap while the other parent plays.) I thought it would be awesome to take the 3 park passes and the park parent could fastpass their way through a park in no-time. But obviously, this wouldn't work if the tickets were embedded on the room key, or rather, park parent would have access to only 2 park tickets instead of three (at least one needed for room entry & charging). Make sense? Good stratagy?

Yes, I believe the park admission is on your key to the world card which doubles as your room key and if your on the dining plan, your meal credits are on this too.

That's my understanding too, it's on your room key. However if you book room only and get you tickets seperately it wouldn't be on your room key. That means you can't do dining plan though! Keep in mind too that if you get your tickets seperate and say you are in the park using your dh's ticket so you can twice the FP's, it won't give you a FP unless he had been in the park that day. So you wouldn't be able to do it first thing.

If you get a package the tickets will be part of the room key.

If you go to a fastpass machine and attempt to use a ticket which had not gone through that park's turnstile that day it will not generate a fastpass.

Here's the thing...I understand that even if you HAD all the keys/tickets the ticket has to be "activated" at the turnstiles in order for it to work at the fast pass machine. Of course, when you enter they're only going to let you put on ticket through. Of course, it could work, I guess if you are all in the park and then the group leaves without their tickets (except for the 1 to get into the room).
