Park Pass ?

As DVC members, do you purchase Ultimate Hopper Passes when you check-in or do you purchase Annual passes? I know you get a discount on APs as Disney Club members, is there a discount for DVC members?
I am considering purchasing an AP and just trying to figure out whether it will benefit me economically. Since we will be there for 8 nights our hopper pass price will be pretty close to the cost of an AP. Also, I would use the AP discount room rate for one night during our stay.
Although I would love to, I can't guarantee that we would travel to WDW again within a year but would the meal/activities discounts be worth it?

Hi,

No discount for DVCers. I bought the AP knowing I would use it on two trips. One trip was 7 park days and the other was 6. By chance we're taking another trip in September so we'll now get 5 more days out of it. WAY worth the price.

We go twice a year and get AP's. We schedule our dates to get 3 trips out of each one, the last one being right before it expires.

Where have any of you found discounts on the AP's? Right now I use the Disney Club card, but not for much longer.......I would love to buy the tickets at some discount, but they just don't seem to be around any more.

Disney Club is about it. I don't know of any other discount on AP's.
