Park Pass- Was this a huge mistake???

So when should you upgrade to a park hopper? Morning of, day before? I looked didn't look at mornings, but it does seem afternoons have been going-green, but I don't know if that's just a park hopper thing or not. I am in a similar bind in not having an HS date, but make due with an afternoon park hop as my 5 YOs aren't into star wars yet so not interested in playing the virtual queue game.

If you have a multi-day ticket, you will pay to upgrade to Park Hopper for all days, no matter if you do it beforehand, day 1, 2 ...or on the last day; it’s an all or nothing deal.

I’m not quite sure what you are asking about park availability showing up in the afternoon. But it does not have anything to do with park hopping. It most likely reflects people who decide that day that they are not going to get to the park and officially cancel their reservation.

No reports to date of anyone being denied use of Park Hopping feature.

If you have park reservations for every day of your trip, you can decide while you are in the middle of your first day of park visits (but easier to do when you are not in the middle of a park).
