Park Pass required for Disney Village?

Hello,

We will be staying near the parks a few days before we actually enter them. I thought it would be nice to eat at a couple of the Disney Village restaurants on those days before heading to the parks. Are park passes required to do so. I think we will all have annual passes (so it wouldn't matter) but if a couple of us don't have APs, I don't want anyone to activate their park hopper tickets just to eat.

You don't need a park pass to go into the Village. You can eat wherever you feel like it.
