So there are a bunch of packing lists on here, but what about lists of things you pack to bring into the parks?

I leave in a week and am off to Target to grab some last minute things for the park.

Hopefully they've got one of those misting fans!

I'll also get some suntan lotion, hand sanitizer, umm yeah I can't think of anything else!

Any ideas?

My bag usually contains:
Camera
Batteries
Sunglasses
Laynard and pins
Pre-cut pieces of moleskin
sunblock
sunblock for lips
waterbottle
hand sanatizer
Resort cup for the food court (if you are buying one, that way you can fill it up at night on your way back to the room and not have to make a second trip)
My spreadsheet with my ADRs, park hours, etc.

This is just my list for myself. If my toddler goes with me, that is a different story! lol

Don't forget any medications that you might need during the day including prescription and over-the-counter. My son has one that he takes with dinner each night so I had to make sure I packed it. Also, things like Tylenol and Tums cost an arm and a leg in the parks and are not easy to find (you usually have to ask at a gift shop). It's so much easier if you bring your own. You never know when someone's going to need it!

I bring the following

Tickets (duh)
Camera
Credit Card, Driver's License and Cash (no wallet)
Hairbrush
Bottle of water
Contact Stuff/Glasses in case I have problems
Lipgloss/Chapstick
Cell phone
Medication (Pepto Bismal, Advil, Benadryl)

I try to pack as lightly as I can, that water bottle really weighs my bag down though.

I did my Target run on Wednesday. Here's what I got:

- shampoo, conditioner, scruchies for my girls
- bandaids (with antiseptic on them :) ), moleskin
- Motrin (and Kiddie motrin), Tums
- toothpaste, toothbrushes, Listerine, floss
- tiny hand sanitizers and a large one
- deodorant
- sunblock, lip block, aloe lotion
- quart and gallon ziploc bags
- baby powder

I also bring a sewing kit anywhere I go.

(OOPS, sorry, I've got to learn to READ!) You asked about what to bring to the park, not to Orlando :)

I use a backpack. A little bag with tylenol motrin, etc. Ponchos's, two light jackets for my children. Hand wipes. Personal items if needed. Pocket fans and extra batteries. My cameras.

My pack contains the following:
-a tube of chapstick, cell phone,
-KTTW card, ID, Credit Cards in a small clear plastic wallet in my front pocket
-a small resealable pack of baby wipes
-a small bottle of hand sanitizer
-two opened but not activated Ace Bandage brand Instant Ice Packs
-camera with extra battery
-two ponchos, one for me one for the wife
-one small OTC medicine bottle with Advil, Tylenol, and Imodium AD (wouldn't that suck!!)
-a laminated 3X5 index card with ADR's and park map on back (although I don't really need the map anymore...)
-a small tube of baby rash ointment in the event that the Body Glide gives out
-a clean pair of socks
-and lastly, A 70ml Camelbak Dromedary, frozen, with just a small amount of water in the top.

All total, everything I carry takes up the space of my Mountainsmith Lumbar Day Pack, with the Camelbak secured to the Strapettes. It weighs nothing and everything that I could possibly need is easily accessible. Plus, I don't have to take any of it off when I ride rides because it compresses down to very small size!

Body Glide is an anti-chafing product. It looks like solid deodorent and costs about $6. I bought mine at Dunhams sport store. It works great, but when it runs out I will try a solid deodorent that is much cheaper.

I have tried solid deodorant in place of Body Glide, and I am here to tell you that it is a mistake!! The ONLY thing that I have tried that even comes close to the level of Body Glide is Monistat Anti Itching and Chafing ointment, and it pales in comparison. That is the one item that I don't mind spending the extra dough on!!

I may be crazy, but I picked up a travel size pair of binoculars. This way at AK on the safari, or during the parades or shows if we're not up front, my DS's can check out things from afar...
I'm probably crazy. We are taking a stroller, so I figure many things that are "optional", ie: not valuable, therefore don't need to be taken with us on rides, will be stashed in the stroller.

I bring the disposable ponchos 2 for $1 so that I can use them on the rides that you get wet ( kali river rapids and splash mt) and you can just throw them away after...Also I bought a small camp towel in the camping dept. and it is Awesome for drying off wet seats, benches, etc. it is very absorbent and very small...batteries for camera (very expensive in parks)... I'm trying to think of anything else...

Our list has morphed over the years, but here goes:

small first aid kit with bandaids and antibacterial ointment

tiny bottle containing various OTC meds (tylenol, excedrin, advil)

roll of Tums, bubble pack package of Pepto Bismol tablets, and imodium

protective case for glasses on big rides

sunscreen

camera

cell phones and/or walkie talkies

ponchos

various size ziploc bags

extra socks

facecloth or small towel

misting fan filled with ice

small bottles of frozen water (the little ones designed to go in lunch boxes)

car-washing chamois (DH puts one in his hat and it keeps him dry all day!)

small package of Wet Ones and/or baby wipes

mini roll of paper towels (found in sample section at Wal Mart)

mini bottle of baby powder (also found in sample section)

I program all of our ADRs into my cellphone and text message the info for that day to the rest of the family in the morning. We keep our tickets and room keys in our lanyards (great for fastpasses, too!) and ALWAYS have good shoes to wear (I usally alternate between good sneakers and crocs from day to day). We all apply sunscreen before going out and wear hats and sunglasses.

The chamois is the one thing DH swears by. I buy a few of the synthetic ones at Wal Mart and usually cut them down into several smaller ones. They are machine washable, so I just toss them in with the clothes at the end of the day. He'll line his hat with them (he shaves his head and hates sweat dripping into his eyes) and we'll have a few in the backpack for wet seats, spills, etc. They are terrific!

Good luck and have fun!

For those of us who fly to the world, you can order most of the items mentioned (including Bodyglide) and have it shipped right to your resort!

When you buy a travel sized Advil it comes in a little tube about the size of a chapstick/lipstick. It is so great for carrying headache medicine. I love it because it takes up very little room.

I also carry precut moleskin for any blisters that may arise.

Sunglass straps called croakies that are great for letting sunglasses dangle around your neck when you don't need them(like in stores) I am the Mom of three boys and they are always saying "Mom, can you carry these?) These straps eliminate at least one item per child.

I carry a bagellinni, not a backpack. We travel pretty light.
