Ok... I normally don't complain... too much ;) .... but I really wish the park hours were out for April and May. I'm now at my 90 day mark for making PSs but I don't even know which parks we'll be visiting on which day. Anyone else in the same boat and feeling tense about it??

Same here. Only thing going for me is we're going the exact same time we went last year so I'm thinking that MK will be open at least till 11 on Sat night :)

Yes, I am in the same boat! I just went with last years hours and the current EMH which they keep changing. Keep in mind that there are also some grad nights then so MK will close early on those nights to the general public.

I'm checking the hours at least twice a day...already made my PS's and just hoping for the best ....maybe i'll have to change a few....but I keep waiting.....and waiting :rolleyes1

April hours should be up Feb 1... then hopefully they won't change them too many times before we all go!

Afterall, WDW is not an existential experience, as one of the guidebooks warns! One must plan!

I made my PS arrangements and I am hoping for the best - we have 2 newbies who will going with us and I want this experience to be wonderful for them - I did find out that our last night there is a grad night - kind of bummed me out because we always like to make MK our last night.... seems more magical I guess - it was hard trying to make arrangements for 10 people - and it won't be easy to change them either if I need too - oh well... just venting....

Vent away!! ;) I'll admit I'm going to make two PSs for Ohana and just hope one of them is on a late MK night, then delete the other one. It's just too risky to wait around, Ohana goes fast.

Erika~ I'm with you. We're going in May and it would certainly help to be able to plan your dining around the park hours. If its 90 days for PS it should be 90 days out when they post park hours and parade schedules. Does anyone know if they start showing Spectro more than 2x a week in May??

where can you find last year's hours??

Check here, it may not include last minute changes:

They used to release them earlier but then got complaints that they made too many changes. They are still making changes now for February! So even when they are released there is no guarantee they are final.

I would love to see the May hours come out, but that will be a month away, but I take them with a grain of salt. Just because they post them doesn't mean they are written in stone. With the new late EMH, things are just crazy when making PS. Unless you're thinking of a character meal, 90 days is the only thing I would make then. We are now down to making our PSs for our many trips to less than 30 days. I can attest to hours changing. Just as I finished my January PS list, 3 weeks before my trip was to begin, the next week the late EMH hours changed. Back to the drawing board I went and called and had to cancel 4 nights and make 4 new nights. And then the hours changed one week before leaving, which closed MK later than the week before. I left everything alone at that point. I find, unless it's a chacter meal or you have a large group, calling 90 days out is no advantage. Actually there are several restraurants now that don't even list later hours (50sPT, H&V, Plaza to name a few of ours) that will list later hours once you get within the 30 day mark. I call for several places and get the last seating, but then once I hit the 30 day mark, I have to call again to get the seating changed again. Way too much work. I just returned last week and all went well with PS and let me say that even though it was a slow time, twice (the Plaza and 50s PT) when arriving for my PS (the last ones of the evening) the line was continously being told if you don't have a PS, we can NOT seat you. Good luck to all, be leave on April 29 for our next trip and it's 16 days, so will have ALOT of PS to make for that trip, but have to wait to combine it with several friends and merge our itineraries. :hourglass

Darnit, I'm so confused and overwhelmed by this whole Primary Seating thing!!! I don't understand how it's supposed to work, and it's making me crazy! I think I'll post in the newbie forums and see if someone can help me with it; since this is our first time I'd really like to make it as fun and stress-free as I can :)

I've already made my PS's for our early April trip, but I just planned them for regular meal times, based on the parks that I thought might be less busy, (avoiding early EMH parks). Is there a different strategy around park hours that I'm not taking into consideration? I've only made PS's for lunches in the parks where we'll already be, and for dinner in Disney resorts. I made our Fantasmic PS at MM; other than that, I'm just going to work around what I've done, and as my friend always reminds me, for the most part, you don't have to keep all of your PS's. If I find that we end up somewhere else and it's not convenient to get to that restaurant, I can call and cancel as soon as I know. How are you guys trying to work your PS's around park hours? I know I'm slow this morning, but I haven't made the coffee yet! :flower:

I'm going crazy too. We go 4/27 and I am at the week to make my 90-day PS. The only thing we are going to make ps for is the character meals figuring we can make other dinner ps closer to the date. We like to stay away from the early entry days because they get so crowded. I really like to plan my days well ahead in advance, but it is a little tough right now. Looks like we are going to have to wing it!!

It's priority seating. They call it that instead of a reservation. A reservation implies the table will be available when you arrive. Priority Seating just means you will have priority over walkins, you may still have to wait. For popular restaurants you need it, walkins could have a long wait.

I have found that the early morning EMH are staying pretty much on schedule. Its the EVENING EMH (you all know about them, right?) that is wreaking havoc on our dining plans.....What I did for my January trip is make dinner PS on the nights that THAT parks was open late. For example, 6:30 PM at 50s PT...MGM closed at 7:00PM to off site guest, so when we were done, we still got to play until 10:00PM. Without knowing which night was a late night for each park, this could not be planned. We did the same for MK. We ate at the Plaza at 5:00 PM, they closed at 7:00PM, we watched wishes after dinner, then played until 10:00PM after off site guest left. For AK, you counldn't do this because they closed at 5:00PM, then stayed open until 8:00PM, then we grabed dinner aftewards. The EVENING EMH are the ones that seem to float around depending if there is a private function happening in that park that night. On my trip, MGM is usually late sunday, but for us it was AK that was late sunday, so you can see how crazy it can get. No problem chaning ressies, but since we eat at the same places several times, when you move your PS, you might find you're eating at the same place two nights in a row...ugh.

I've been checking the WDW site like every couple hours for weeks now. I'm pretty darn pathetic. I'm waiting to finish up PSs for early April, too. To add to that I'm also waiting on the EMH days for April since it appears these are NOT consistent.

We leave next week for a few nights and when I made PSs for this trip the EMH days changed and screwed up our plans and I had to move stuff all around.

Why do they even bother with the 90 days when they don't release park hours until so late?
