Park Hours once you are there...

How do you keep up with the latest updates if you can't bring your pc?



Do they publish them in the resorts? On the resort tv channel? Is there a number you can call?

I think I'm spoiled and I'm going to have serious DIS withdrawal while I'm there!

They print new schedules for each week, and you can pick them up at the hotels and parks. Sometimes though, they will extend the hours beyond those on even the newest schedule. When we were there once the MK was scheduled to close at 10, accordingly to all brochures, but the bus driver told us 11 when we got off the bus, and sure enough they had added an extra parade and extended the hours until 11 pm that night.

It is on one of the channels on the tv, but also it is on the white sheets for each resort that gives you the timing for everything in the park. You can also print the calendar from Home and take it with you.

You pick up a times guide for the all the parks at your resort. This will give park hours, parades, charaters, fireworks etc for each park. I have never heard of the hours changing after the times guides are out unless weather closes the park or something like that. I believe the time guide come out on Sunday and are usually good for that week exceptions are of course Holidays which get their own times guide. You can ask for these at check in or anytime at the front desk.

I was quite surprised in June this year. The tv times were different than the printed sheets. When I called the front desk they confirmed that the hours had been extended.

time and EMH huors can change at the last minute. This past week we were given both EPCOT and MK EMH evening hours and no morning Epcot.

WDW changes hours all the time and the weekly formis usually pretty close to being correct, but at times it can be a little off.

The best place to get the latest information on park hours is the front gate of the park itself, of course. At that time you can factor in any changes to your plans.

We just stayed at WL and they had a board in the lobby that had all the park hours on it. However, there was a change in the time at TL from 9:00 opening to 9:30 and no one knew about it. We didn't find out until we got there. The bus driver didn't even know about it.
