Hello everyone, we had booked ADR at Crystal Palace for Dec 23rd for 8:05am when park hours had indicated a 9am opening. Hours have now changed to park opening at 8am with EMH beginning at 7am. We are not staying on Disney property and are wondering if maintaining Dec 23rd as our MK day is wise. The 23rd is the only day of the week that EMH begin in the morning and are extending to the night, 1am-3am. I guess I am looking for advise in regard to the crowds. We will be giving up our ADR but hope to keep the 23rd as our MK day as we have 7DMT fast passes :) We will be traveling with a 10 year old and a 2 year old. Also, if we decide to leave to give our son a nap mid afternoon, do you think we will have trouble getting back into the park after dinner to watch Wishes? Thank you in advance for all who reply :)

Every single day from that point on will be insanely busy at MK. You may as well keep the 23rd as your MK day.

I agree. It will be crazy busy, but later days will be even worse.

Plan to be at EMH rope drop and make the most of it!

If it works with your plans, and you are able to, move your ADR to a little later on. If you could get a 10 am you could take advantage of the smallish crowds at rope drop.

We're keeping it as our second MK day despite the evening emh because I figured later in the week would still be worse. And we have a CP dinner and A&E FP that I'm not willing to give up. We are taking the am as resort time so we will be rested enough to enjoy the whole late evening.

As off-site guests, I would do my best to stay in the park. Will your 2 yr old nap in a stroller? The time it will take you to get out and get back in on a crazy busy day will be stressful. Perhaps keep trying to get an ADR somewhere inside the park for mid-afternoon for a good break for all of you. Plan to do Carrousel of Progress or The Presidents or a trip on The Liberty or all three during nap time to allow that little one (and the rest of you) to get a little rest in the middle of the day.
