Park Hours and Show Schedules in December?

We are looking at going to DLR the first week in December. The official hours haven't been published yet but I was wondering if any of the veterans would have a good idea of they might be and what shows will be running.

In the Christmas Superthread, Page 1, Post #3 (the Information post, under "Q&A"), you will see a link to last year's December schedule to get an idea of what will be running and what the hours will be. It's only a partial December list, though. The first 10 days are mysteriously missing.

So you have just reminded me - one of the DIS'ers in the Superthread posted a complete December schedule from last year, so I have to copy that link over to Post #3!

Give me just a minute to go get the complete December 2010 schedule that lconn posted and paste it in that thread!

Okay, here is the complete December schedule for 2010, which will be a good indicator of what you can expect this year. It was hard to find - several of us looked for a complete 12/2010 schedule for a while and couldn't find one, for some reason. Finally, lconn came up with this:

I will put this in the Holiday Info post of the Superthread, and when we get the 2011 schedule, that's where I will be posting the new info - or any brand new holiday info - as it comes in.

You know what I just noticed? That link I posted above (which DIS'er lconn found for us) doesn't have the entertainment schedule for the first 10 days of December 2010. It only has the park hours for December 2010!

I have to go back and change what I posted in the Superthread to "Park Hours" and not "Entertainment" for that link. I had not looked at the link she found in its entirety before so I thoguht it included entertainment!

The "incomplete" schedule/link that I already had in there - with the Entertainment that starts on December 11, 2010 - will be a good guideline of what early December 2011 will be like. It won't be much different than that except for the nights when the Cast Member parties happen, and that will either be December 5 & 6 or December 12 & 13.

Thank you so much for the information, it's helpful to get at least a baseline idea of hours. Do you think they will have fireworks/WOC every night or only on the weekends? My DS loved, loved, LOVED the fireworks so he will not be happy if they don't have them the next time we go.

I know they will have fireworks everynight unless the wind becomes an issue. They also have immitation snow falling on Main Street I think it was right after the fireworks. It is really amazing. I cant speak for WOC because that is new to me and will be seeing it for the 1st time the 2nd week of Dec.

As PP said fireworks are nightly during the Christmas season. WOC has been nightly since the show started a year ago. There has been no word that they will change that anytime soon. Fantasmic! isn't nightly so if you want to catch that make sure to hit the parks on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night.

then the following week the same Fireworks nightly, WOC nightly and "A Christmas Fantasy" Parade 2 showing I have the entertainment and park guides from 2008-2010 if you need more info let me know. It shows the Small world and Castle lighting and other events.

IMO, it's the BEST time to go...first week of December

Thank you for posting this. I figured the hrs would be later and all shows would be playing during dec everynight. I really want to see F so I need to see about changing our plans to add in a Friday.
