Park hours and Schd. ?

We are planning on going mid-Dec.
On the Seaworld web site, it lists park hours are from 9 am - 6 pm.

How can shows be listed at 6 pm (Shamu Christmas) and 6:45 pm (Christmastide) if the park is already closed??

Its because they dont want any one else coming into the park after 6 o clock.

It is because The Waterfront area of the park, consisting of shops, restaurants, and entertainment, is open until 7pm during December when the rest of the park closes at 6pm. It's a smart way to extend the day with a couple more entertainment options and simultaneously encourage you to spend money at The Waterfront.
