We're going in Dec and my PPO ADR is no longer PPO as the park hours have changed. :(
It now opens at 7AM with EMH!
We stay in the resort, so we want to make it for EMH, but it's kind of frustrating as my DD loves sleeping in. :(

I guess I have to let go of my ADRs now.
I sort of regret letting go of my 10:30 BOG ADR on the same day, as it will make perfect brunches.
Well, at least we have 12:30 lunch ADR.
So I will try other QS restaurants earlier in the day as brunch/snack.

Do they ever change back the park hours??

If you're going to be at the park at 7 am, I'd keep that 10:30 ADR. You'll be ready for a break and some food!

This happened to us the first few years but now we don't bother as we would have to cancel them too. Why sit and eat when you can be riding the attractions when the queues are smaller and the park less packed. We always follow early morning EMH to make the most of our time in WDW.

Contrarian view: We kept our 8:15 ADR on a day open shifted to 8:00. We rode one ride before breakfast, did breakfast, then wiped out a ton of park afterwards. Now, the effectiveness of this would depend on season -- this was a party night. I wouldn't do this at holiday or spring break.

But given what a beast my youngest is before breakfast, this worked for us, and the kids love Pooh, and this was Crystal Palace. I wouldn't do this for BOG or CRT.

This happened to 3 of my breakfasts on MK days next month. I was able to move one later, but the other 2 have to stay. My son will kill me if I cancel one & I really want to do the other. I'm trying not to get too upset since we'll have 4 MK days, we'll still get everything we want done.

I would expect to have to cancel for busy times of the year, because they always seem to change times and open an hour earlier. I canceled one too, but I was expecting it to happen. It will just give you an excuse to come back and try it again:)

As we go every December we know the park hours listed at our 180 day window are rubbish. MK always moves to 7 (EMH) or 8am opening 3rd/4th week of December so we have given up on MK PPO. The only one we always make now is Garden Grill as Epcot never opens at 7am and so on non-EMH days it opens at 9am. We have an 8am PPO then go on Soarin' at 9am when it opens and save our fast pass for Test Track.

I have already let go of my 10:20 BOG reservation. Oh well. :(
I will see if I can try to get one around 10 again or just go try other restaurants: Peco's bill, Cosmic Ray cafe.
At least, 1 day (Dec/13) out of 3, the park hours remains the same and hopefully it will, so we can go do PPO breakfast. We only booked 2 PPO ADRs (because we knew the 3rd MK day already has an EMH).

I don't think we'll keep 8:05 ADR at BOG as the park opens at 7 (7-8 EMH). By the time we finish breakfast around 9, it will be packed.
We might just pack some breakfast items and have her eat when we arrive early at MK and come back to the resort for mid-day break.
I am also annoyed that it opens at 7, because we have a 2.5 year old, and leaving the hotel at 6 is quite early for her. :(

Gotta live with it now. But I know better next time!

Thank you all!!
