Park Hopping

To conserve money, I may go for a 10 day WDW ticket as opposed to a 14 day ticket. Therefore, I ask, can tickets be used in a non-linear fashion? As in, can I use tickets 1-5 over the course of 5 days, a break and then the remaining tickets?

I think as long as you use the tickets by the end of your stay, you can use them in any order you like. For example, we use tickets 1 thru 4, then a break for Disney Springs/La Nouba day, then we use the remaining tickets.

Just you don't get confused, this isn't the definition of park hopping. Park hopping is visiting two or more theme parks on the same day. Note: You cannot use two "days" of a ticket to enter a different theme park on the same day.

Second, there isn't a 14-day domestic ticket. 10 is the max amount of days before you'd need either another ticket or an annual pass.

Third, all tickets expire 14 days after first use. So yes, you can take breaks in the middle. The days do not need to be used consecutively.

And fourth, you don't get individual tickets for each day - a 10 day ticket is a single ticket with 10 days' worth of admission.

As long as they are used within 14 days of first use.
Although I'm unsure what that has to do with park hopping.

You can get 7 and 14 day tickets if you live in the UK, at least.

I used the term "park hopping" because I couldn't figure what else to call the experience, lol!
