Park hopping with FPs?

We are planning only one park day as we are only staying a few days before our cruise. We did purchase park hoppers and would like to go to both AK and HS. I was not able to get FOP FPs. My plan was to be at AK at rope drop and head straight to FOP, and then head to Everest, Kali, etc. and go to HS that afternoon where I have FPs for early evening. I thought I would keep checking for FOP FPs, and if they became available, switch all our FPs to AK and work HS around that. I went to check for FPs today and it is telling me because it is in a different park than my other FPs that I would need to cancel those first.

My question is, will it allow me to check for FPs at AK before it actually cancels my HS FPs? Or am I better off leaving everything as is and just planning on hitting FOP at rope drop?

Check the wording carefully. Unless MDE has changed (entirely possible), it doesn't cancel until you select and confirm a FastPass at the other park. I will double check though.

[EDIT] It appears to still work the same way it used to. If you select Keep this Person, it will let you see FPs at the other park. Your existing FPs don't get cancelled until you select a FP at the new park.

I made 3 FastPasses at MGM and then attempted to look for FastPasses at Animal Kingdom. MDE warned me that I already had FastPasses for another park. The last sentence is the key here.



I selected Kali River Rapids and it indicates at the bottom that it is replacing all 3 FPs from MGM.



If you back out at this point, your existing FastPasses should remain intact (mine did). If you click confirm, it cancels all the existing FastPasses.
