So my family surprised my fiance and I with a vacation starting 11/25 and ending 11/30 of this year. We're staying in Port Orleans and in planning out meals and such at this late date, our schedule works out like this:

Day-AM Park-PM Park

Thursday - Magic Kingdom - Epcot
Friday - Animal Kingdom - Hollywood Studios (Reservation at 50's for dinner)
Saturday - Epcot (La Cellier for lunch) - Hollywood Studios
Sunday - Magic Kingdom all day (9:50 breakfast at Kona Cafe due to late night at Christmas Party)
Monday - AM Magic Kingdom

Is this feasible? I've heard that it might not be possible to park hop like we're intending. Any information, suggestions, or strategies would be appreciated!

You're staying at a WDW resort.
One of the perks is being able to get into a crowded park except under the
most severe over-crowding conditions.
I wouldn't worry about it over Thanksgiving Weekend.

How crowded is Sunday still? Local so we can just drive over for the day, but wasn't sure if the crowds thinned out at all?

We've been to Disney World for the Thanksgiving weekend many times. And while we were annual passholders, we weren't onsite for the stay. Other than possibly Magic Kingdom (we don't there very often so have no idea of even a closure there), we have just done our normal routine which is going to one park during the day and Epcot at night and never a sign of any park closure. I really wouldn't concern myself with it very much.

Over 90% of the people just there for the holiday will be going home that day. That's why, when we go for the weekend, we take Monday off to drive back home.

Family has stayed in Disney for Thanksgiving for the past 8 years (this will be the first time plans have changed but we'll still be in Disney!!)That Sunday after Thanksgiving is usually a MVMCP so MK closes early. With that being said Thanksgiving is not Christmas/New Years bad - we've never expeirenced MK closing it will be crowded but manageable. The only thing I will miss this year is we usually went to a water park on Thanksgiving day and then had dinner at one of the resorts. If it rained, we went to AK or DHS. Have a great time!

Thanks. The BF suggested going, but I have never been during Turkey weekend. I suggested we go the next weekend though as I have the last 2 years & it's been pretty good crowd wise.

It wasn't that bad at all this past Thanksgiving. My only suggestion would be to skip MK on Thanksgiving Day. We were there Thanksgiving morning and it was absolutely insane. We came back for Rope Drop Black Friday and it was amazing. The lowest crowds I have ever seen at MK and we go fairly often. All the other parks were busy but very manageable that whole week/weekend.

At this point your schedule might be determined by ADRs. We made ours for 11/20-11/29 at the 180 day mark and in order to get what we wanted we had to do certain parks on certain days and a few days we have to spend part of a day at 1 park and then late afternoon head to another one. Good luck!
