Park hopping and fastpass+ up and running?

Have hear people coming back from disney saying that you can now get 3 more fastpass+ times when you arrive at second park . Any one hear of this?

We were there on Sunday and Monday and that was not true for us based on what the CMs with whom we spoke said. In fact, that was the big negative of the magic bands/FP+ system we encountered... that and the fact that each CM seemed to know different rules. I really disliked wasting vacation time -- which is always precious, but even more precious when the parks are very crowded parks -- trying to figure out what I can do and can't do.

The different stories Is very confusing. The story I had head was that this person went to drop the park hopping from there tickets and the cast member told them not too because they could get the fastpass times at the second park. This person then said it worked for them all 4 days they were their.

My vacation is April 7-11. Has anyone gotten a wishes fastpass for any of those dates. TIA.

Where did you hear/read that? That is definitely NOT true. Technically, you can't even get FPs for some rides in Epcot and DHS in a day visit - for example, you can't even get a FP for Rockin' Roller Coaster and Toy Story Mania in the same day or Soarin' and Test Track in the same day.

This new Fastpass+ system is atrocious and they are NOT letting you get more than 3 FPs per day TOTAL.

There have been reports of limited testing of additional fastpasses. It could be they were chosen. I really believe that eventually they will allow more, especially in a second park.

I am planning an end of June trip and like the idea of not having to run around collecting fastpass tickets, BUT we like to park hop so the limitation of FP+ for only one park a day is really bringing me down. I have fingers crossed that Disney expands limits to allow park hoppers more FP+s at different parks. If not, I may rethink and drop the Park Hopper option.
