Park Hopping...All 4 parks in 1 Day.

We did it a few times. It didn't seem all that difficult. Didn't do a ton at each park, but for the last few trips, it was a great way to spend the last day. It was easier to drive but the buses and monorail worked for us too. At the end of 11 and 13 days, it wasn't like I felt the need to rush and do all the rides at one park. We spent time shopping and getting souvenirs, took a few rides, ate a few things and just enjoyed a park for a few hours, then moved on to the next.

Taking our time will also have to be taken into consideration. It will be easy for my to want to hurry and rush lol

I've accidently done it, wasn't intending to it just happened. Started out at AK at rope drop, had no plans to do rope drop, I was up it was there I did it. It was an EMH morning. Rode Safari and EE before the park opened for other guest. Dropped in on the birds in flight (or whatever it's called), wandered down the two trails and hopped over to Epcot for some lunch (it was F&W) grabbed something to eat from a couple of booths, walked over to HS. Jumped on ToT then GMR and wandered around the back lot, stopped in the Writer's Stop for some hot tea and a cookie. Walked back over to Epcot, grabbed something from a booth and wandered up front, rode SE, The Land and watched the fish for awhile, hopped on the monorail to MK, rode POC, BTM and climbed on the tree house, watched wishes and the FWs and went back to my resort (YC). All without a single FP or plan, it just happened. I could have fit more in but I really was just sort of ambling around.

Thats amazing! I literally had to read some of the abbreviations out loud. :shamrock::earboy2: Thanks for the info!

We did this last summer in this order - DHS-AK-Epcot-MK.

The key was to hitting the last 3 parks a few hours before closing time when the lines are the shortest. We used our FP+ at DHS. Another key was having our own vehicle which saved a lot of time.

We rode 19 rides in total and didn't even start until noon. We also had time for an offsite lunch.

Thats awesome! We are planning on using Disney transportation. But i like your tour order!

Haven't done it yet, but have it planned for our next trip. It seems very doable to me. I wouldn't bother with it on a shorter trip, but on the last day of a longer trip when you've already had the chance to see and do most of what you wanted to do, then to me it's just a tour around all the parks to hit up a favourite attraction or two. My plan is to start with AK and then on to DHS (will have FP booked there) and then EP and end at MK with a stop at a TS restaurant between EP and MK for supper. We'll be driving, so that save some time.

I thinks This will also be my touring plan. But with Disney Transportation!:dumbo:

I'm doing the "4-parks-1-day-0-naps" challenge for the first time during my upcoming May trip - and also have a goal to break my personal high for steps in a day and get in 35,000. I thought I was really being creative with my plan, but I see from PP's that it's a pretty common choice:

AK at rope drop... do Safari, Everest (possibly multiple times), at least one nature trail and an early QS lunch at Yak and Yeti
DHS via bus... use my FP+ for ToT, RnR and TSM... pretty much the only things still open :)
EPCOT next, plan on walking over and going in thru International Gateway then hanging out in WS: early dinner at Teppan Edo quite possibly followed by an ice cream martini in France. Then make my way up front and catch the Monorail.
MK arrival I believe will be around 9pm... I'll drag myself around getting in steps until I hit my goal, doing anything that doesn't have a long line, snacking as needed.

My only concern is the weather, because if it's super hot/humid that's going to make it tough going.

We did it this past September. Videos below of the experience. It wasn't as bad as I expected. I felt rushed the first 2 parks but then once I realized we had plenty of time for the last 2 I relaxed and enjoyed it. And we used 100% Disney transportation. We did AK, HS, MK, and EP because we wanted to have some drinks at Epcot at the end. My only advice would be not to do it during really high crowd times.

Part 1 (first half of the day):

Part 2 (second half of the day):

Just watched the videos! Loved them!

YES! looking to do this in April!

We've done 3 in a day several times, however, it was the wife and I and we've been to WDW a LOT so we hit our favs.

If you want to soak it in, or haven't been much then I say it's hard.

We've done 3 parks in a day many times when we've gone as a family. DH and I just did all 4 parks one day last month. We hadn't planned on it, just decided that day, and we didn't actually do a headliner in each park. Started in AK (bus from Poly) and did safari & FOTLK. Bussed to HS and rode TOT, RnRC, GMR, watched the Streetmosphere performers and had some lunch, then took a Friendship boat to Epcot. We shopped and drank a bit, listened to Voices of Liberty and drank a bit, monorailed back to Poly to change for dinner at Citricos and then took monorail to MK. There we rode 5 or 6 rides including BTMRR and HM, watched MSEP and shopped. Awesome day :) Our FP's were originally for mid-day at MK but while at AK we changed them to HS.

Im def looking forward to the boat between DHS and Epcot. My husband loves boats lol. Thanks!

We did it once, on my 60th Birthday. Started at the Animal Kingdom for three hours and then went to Epcot for lunch and some more fun. Then we went to Hollywood Studios for seveal hours and wound up at the Magic Kingdom for dinner and fireworks. Our intent wasn't to ride a lot of attractions but to actually make all four parks in one day. My wife said I could do what ever I wanted for my 60th and that is what I picked. Boy did we sleep well that night.

Wow! That sounds great! We will be there on my husbands birthday, all 4 in 1 day was his wish!

My Son and Husband did it last trip, I think we started at AK with EMH and when I took our youngest back to the hotel for nap early afternoon, he took the older one to Epcot to buy something (a pokemon stuffy from Japan store that he had been asking for for months since his birthday). Then they came to our hotel we swam a bit then finished the night at MK. We love park hopping and changing things up, and just going with the flow. so much at Disney is planned, I try to keep the plans secret and just allow the boys (and DH) to think they are doing what they want while I guide them to our planned locations with spontaneity mixed in.
