Park hopping...Advice please

Hi

Which is the best way to hop between Epcot and MGM
?BOAT,WALK,CAR or BUS

Boat is preferred option, but not sure how long this takes.

The boat does take quite a while because it stops at all the resorts. I think the route is MGM - Swan & Dolphin - Yacht & Beach Club - BoardWalk - Epcot and vice versa. My advice would be to take the boat between MGM and the S&D (the longest leg) and walk between there and Epcot.

I'd say it depends on whether you just want to get there a.s.a.p or whether you want to make the transfer part of your Disney day. The boat would win for me because it's a bit more of an event in its own right although, as deb says, it's not a quick straight-there-and-back trip.

Another thing to maybe consider is where you'll be in Epcot by the time you want to hop - I'm almost certain the bus leaves from the front main entrance, but the boat goes from the International Gateway. It sounds as though you plan to use your car on the trip - if so, do you need to get back to wherever you left it at the beginning of the day before you can return to your accommodation when the parks close? If so, that might make the car a better option for you, although I would guess it would be the most time consuming.

The boat trip is 30 minutes from MGM to Epcot. The boats usually arrive about every 15 minutes.
