The fingerscan thing never seems to work on me, so I am constantly having to deal with CMs over it, and out of probably 10 times, 9 times I was just told to go on in. Only once was I I.D.ed.
I say that not to encourage you, but discourage you. If you do the ticket swap, its not something you're going to be able to clear up one way or another possibly until well into your trip. I would not be able to enjoy myself as much knowing that the next time I try to go into the park I could be caught and have to buy a new ticket.

When we have been and not signed our tickets on the first trip into the park the CM on the turnstile has ALWAYS made us sign the ticket and finger print, we have also known them to ask for photo id, passport drivers license etc so I wouldn't risk it, just buy your own ticket it;s much easier than risking having the tickets taken off you because you don't match the sig or finger prints.

We bought our tickets from the Disney Store for our trip last month - they looked like little credit cards. We had 4 adult tickets and 2 child tickets. I cannot see what the fingerprint did at ALL other than slow the entrance to the park. The only thing I can think of is that it remembers you for that ONE day. Like if you leave the park and come back. We all used the random "adult" cards to get in and what are the chances that we all had our "own" cards (which had no names) each time? And on the day we left and came back - again didn't pay one bit of attention to what card we had - and all went through just fine.

I just don't see the purpose of the finger scan is - and I doubt it "wasn't working" for all 5 days we were there- at different parks even. Maybe it's just to scare people into being honest?
