Park Hopper vs. Extra Days Tickets

We are traveling with extended family.
We will be there for 7 days, extended family will be there for 3 days.
They want Hoppers, but we don't want to Hop all 7 days.
Could I just buy, say, 9 days and Hop with them on 2 days?

It's cheaper than applying the Hopper to all 6 days.

No, you can't. The system does not work that way. You are buying days not admissions.

Like Allison said, it's "days" not "admissions". The system will not allow you to use 2 park days on the same calendar day.

The only way it would work is to buy separate tickets. But that will be more expensive than adding park hopping to the one you have.
