Just returned from our 6 day trip and upgraded my pass to an annual pass and my gosh thank goodness from reading the boards I knew what to expect. They asked me several questions about my passes when was the first day I used it and which parks did we visit on a certain day, did I use our MM yet. I had my receipt from when I bought them online and said would you like it. They made it seem like I was a thief. I had to think about which parks on what day did we visit as that is on the bottom of mind. Then to give me my DVC discount she said how young I looked to be a DVC member and wanted to run my number to make sure it's valid, I caught her and yep, we own at 2 resorts and enjoy every bit of it, hoping that she got the picture that her comment wasn't appropriate. I had everything lined up and ready for them, passes, ID's, DVC card and debit and still got the scamming look from her. I know people have done these things in past and Disney is trying to stop it, but gosh do they have to treat everyone like this that is trying to upgrade the park tickets?
I was not able to upgrade my husband or sons pass as he took him to DD as I was waiting in the long line in the heat wave. I had husbands ID and nope she wouldn't do it, we were leaving in a hour to catch our flight and they gave me a extension pass to bring with us next time (December) and he can upgrade then.
Question: she said that both husband and son had to be present to get the annual pass, unfortunately our son won't be with us in December
(
for us,
for him!!). Has anyone been able to get a annual pass for their child with them not being present? She said I could try when when we come back and see if a cast member will do it.
