Park Hopper Question

I tried to search this but couldn't get an answer. I now get that you can go from park to park in the same day. My question is if you purchase a 5 day park hopper does it have to be used on consecutive days. Can we use our hoppers any 5 days?

The ticket needs to be used within 13 days of the first entry. So after you enter the park the first time, you have 13 days to use the rest of the hopper.
