Park Hopper Pass Question

Back in 1998 my family and I had a foreign exchange student from Germany. My dad had a Convention in Orlando so me, my mom and our exchange student went down to Orlando and went to WDW. We each got a 5 day park hopper pass, but we only used 3 of the days. This Monday my boyfriend and I are leaving for Orlando. We are planning on using the remaining two days off of the pass. There is only one problem....... I heard that they only let the original people who bought the passes use them. Will someone please clear this up for me. That seems like a waste. We bought them and our exchange student is back in Germany and she isn't going to be coming back. It seems like if we buy them, we should be able to let whoever we want to use them. I hope someone can debunk this as a rumor. Thanks in advance!

It's not a rumor. It is in fact what Disney's policy is. Not to worry however as it is not possible for Disney to know who actually used the ticket previously. Use the tickets with no worries and have a great trip.
