Park Hopper bus times

Does anybody know how late the park hopper buses run? Specifically, if I start my day at Hollywood Studios, parking my car there, on a day that it closes at 9pm and park hop via bus to Magic Kingdom (closing at 11pm) so I don’t have to deal with the TTC and Monorail, how late does the bus back to Hollywood Studios run? Thanks.

I heard a discussion about this with a CM one day and can’t remember what the details were but am positive that it was not two hours after a park closed. Would be interesting if someone can answer in the positive but I am quite confident you won’t catch a bus scheduled to go to HS at 11pm. Lot of possible options like eating breakfast at a boardwalk resort and taking a boat/bus over to HS, or parking at TTC etc, or of course an Uber for part of all of it? Hopefully somebody comes along with better news but I am pretty sure the conversation I overheard was about one hour after park closed and the answer was no.

Thanks for the reply, even 1 hour after HS closes would be good news if that is the case! Hopefully someone else can confirm.

I probably wasn’t clear I believe they were discussing 1hr and am sure he said no. Just not positive it was 1hour but am sure it wasn’t 2+ just can’t remember exactly what time he said now. Of course it’s always possible the CM was wrong. I would call transportation directly and check with them. I had the number once but don’t see it in my contacts or I would share it here. Another question though, at what point do they start towing cars?

There's no guarantee that a bus will take you to a park once it closes so I wouldn't count on a bus taking you from MK to DHS after their park has closed. At park closing the buses are already running at maximum capacity so for one to take a family from a park to a closed park, you might wait a very long time for one to arrive.

You could take a bus to a place like CBR and take the Skyliner to DHS until about 10 but even that is risky. At park closing they are trying to take guests away from the closed park rather than take them there.

The recommended rule of thumb is that if you are moving to a park that closes later than the one where your vehicle is located, take your vehicle with you. You can hire private transportation to take you to your car but guessing that's not what you're looking for.

Thank you for all the replies, but I wasn’t looking for alternatives, I just want to know how late the bus runs.

Yeah, any of those would work. I think Boardwalk would be the shortest walk, though.
Actually, that would be the furthest, Swan and Dolphin would be the shortest, next shortest would be Yacht Club. Beach Club and Boardwalk would be about equal.

Boardwalk would have the advantage of having little to no hills on the walking path though.

Swan and Dolphin may have longer overall walks though, depending on where they are currently picking up for transportation.

We have taken the walking path from that area quite a few times now.

If DHS closes at 9pm, don’t expect to find a bus from MK to DHS any later than that regardless of how late MK is open. You will need to either move your car to TTC or use an alternative option back to DHS.

I think the confusion here may be that buses running to resorts from HS would have to go back to Hs to pick up, and it’s possible those are running 1.5-2 hours, but park to park is a whole different story and is what I was overhearing. It may be that they run for some period of time or not at all but probably the only certain way to know is to call transportation and see if they have an official policy for this.

Disney buses will not shutdown until the parks have closed and cleared. They will also make sure you get back to the park that your vehicle is at even if that park has already closed. Disney Springs is the only location that has a cut off time, which is 12:30. They will return you to Studios from Magic even if Studios has closed. It is a direct bus so you will not have to go to TTC.
