Park Hop just to eat?

We also do not care for the restaurants at MK, MGM and AK has no TS other than the buffet and we dont have kids so don't do the character buffets very often. So our TS's are all at the resorts or EPCOT.
The Plaza at MK is an excellent TS that is not a buffet.

I guess you could say that we do. Usually we start out at one park in the morning and have a CS lunch there. Sometimes we'll head back to the hotel for a rest or swim and go to another park in the evening, or just head directly to another park depending on how we feel.

I would, depending on what the hopping involves and what time we want to eat. We're scheduled to eat at Epcot on one of our MGM days, one of our AK days, and our waterpark day. On the MGM day, we're going to take our time and enjoy the Boardwalk between the two parks, and since AK & the waterpark close early, we'll have time to go back to our resort before dinner to change clothes and relax for a little bit.

I planned my park days, then made ADR's for those parks. Had ADR's at non-park locations on non-park days. There was no way I was going to spend that much time leaving 1 park, using Disney Transportation to drive to another one, going thru bag check and entry again just to go to eat.
A TS meal takes enough time as it is. Adding the time to get to it would be too much "park time" wasted for me.

Hopping makes it alot easier w/ ADRs. But we chose to drop the hoppers since we will only be visiting one park per day. We only had 1 ADR that I had to change and I couldn't see paying for the hoppers to eat at that restaurant.
