park guide question

Are park maps/schedules/guides available at the resorts or only at the front gate of the parks? Staying at POP and we will get in late afternoon so won't do any parks that day, but thought if we could get all the park maps that we could spend the evening planning our days in advance. Also does anyone know if you can get B-day buttons at the resorts for each park or only at the parks?

Yes, you will be able to get maps of all the theme parks, including DTD at your resort. I am not sure about the B-day buttons....I think maybe you can only get these at Guest Relations at the parks.

The birthday buttons are only available at Guest Relations at the parks and at DTD.I think Magic Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios have the same design while Epcot,Animal Kingdom and DTD have their own designs.

Park maps for each of the other parks are also avialable at guest relations as well as individual time guides, if you go to guest relations at MK you can get the time guides and maps for all the other parks.

I never saw the park maps at the resort!!! I will have to look next time I am there. I always need some extras! I am mad I gave away my big full size AK one. Now they are the mini-maps - easier to handle but ... I kind of miss the big ones!!! (I'm not that mad about giving the big one away) ... but NOBODY touch my big MK one with Stitch on the cover -- that is my FIRST TRIP momento and has the creases to prove it .... WHOOPS - getting off topic here!

Ok, I will also admit we kept forgetting to get the times schedules - but someone was always dropping one along the way and that is how we would find out when the shows were playing.

Time guides were not available at Pop. All maps and the times for park openings were available and posted including EMHs for the next day.
