Park Entry with MVMCP and Regular Tickets

We have Magic Bands that are linked to a 4 day park ticket as well as a MVMCP ticket. The day that we get to the MVMCP (at 4 PM as we have been told), we want to make sure that the ticket for the MVMCP is charges and NOT a day from our park ticket, as we are using those for later days.

I don't want to assume that it will happen per our desires - so is there a way of ensuring the correct result? Will it be automatically so at the turnstiles?

Scan your actual party tickets and not your MB or actual hard ticket.

They will have an entrance that says special event entry and as long as you go through that entrance it will pull your party ticket. If you go through the regular entrance it will pull your park ticket.
