We are using our MNSSHP ticket as our park ticket so we will not be able to get into the MK until 4pm. Will we be able to make it to an ADR at BOG by 4:10pm? We currently have a 6:05pm ADR, but I see availability for 4:10pm and I would prefer to eat dinner early so that we can take full advantage of the party festivities. If we are a little late, will that be a problem? We have no plans for that day other than hanging out at the resort so we should have no issue in getting to the park entrance on time.

That line to get into MK builds early and builds quickly. You'll want to be through security and waiting by 3:00 or so to be sure you're first in line and ready to go when they open up.

Of course, Disney could pull a fast one and not let ticket holders in at 4:00 this year too. I would be tempted to hold onto both ADRs until you know for sure there is still going to be early entrance.

If you check where you need to go, aka plan your route, and are all good on foot, that should not be a problem. Provided as the others have mentioned before, you make sure you had off to MK with plenty of time to spare, get through security and then just wait to actually get through the gates. You could take photos etc while waiting to be let in.

I would certainly try to get the earlier reservation, as the time during the party is precious and I personally wouldn't want to miss over an hour of party-time for a meal. Not even at BOG - and I'm such a big Beauty and Beast lover.

The first time we went to MNSSHP (in 1997) there were only two parties and we could not get into the park until 7PM when the party started. And they emptied the park at 6PM. The next time we went a few years later, everyone with a party ticket was moved to Tomorrowland and the rest of the park cleared at 6PM. Then the rest of the park was reopened at 7PM. Things are different now.

Whoopsie! I was too slow and now the 4:10 ADR is gone...oh well. I guess I will stick with my 6:05 ADR for now. I still have an ongoing search with TouringPlans for a 5pm ADR so I will keep an eye out for it.

As far as the park admission goes, I have an AP, but my kids only have 5-day park hoppers. We will be there for 8 days so I was hoping to use the party ticket as one of our park days. I am planning to have them scan the physical ticket at the gate (instead of their MagicBand) when they try to enter the park at 4pm so that there is no possible way that it "accidentally" uses one of their park hopper days instead. If we must use a day to get in for dinner, then we will end up staying out of the park on our departure day, which won't be a huge deal. We are staying at AKV and the original plan was to hang out by the pool since our flight doesn't leave until almost 7pm. Since the pool is going to be closed, I thought we would just save a park day and hang out at the AK since it's our favorite park anyways. The girls love the conservation station and the walking trails are very self-paced. If we can't do that, then oh well...we can always hang out at the Kidani pool or just chill out at the resort.
