we have 3 day park hopper and thinking about adding a fourth.. wife and 7 and 9 year old girls.. first timers... so far we are going to Animal kingdom and MK.. do we do MK twice? or do we go to epcot? or would you add a fourth day and do every park one day? will be in florida 6 days

I'd probably lean MK, AK, EPCOT, then wildcard day to go back to your favorite(s)
You might consider a hop to DHS on the EPCOT day and hopping on the wildcard day

I say add the 4th and see it all. All of the parks have something worthwhile, and remember that each has unique nighttime entertainment. You can split your Epcot/DHS day, but then you are picking between Fantasmic! and Illuminations. You already have the hopper, so maybe a 4th day do some hopping.

I actually tend to hop a lot when I go. Like morning in Epcot, then HS for afternoon. Then another day, I'll do AK in the AM and Epcot at night for Illuminations. Now that AK has nighttime hours though, that could change.

Look at the attractions and shows in epcot and hollywood before you count them out. there is certain things in the parks like pixar/star wars in hollywood and frozen in epcot (if traveling after june 21) that might be of interest or importance to your children. You also have hoppers so it offers the ability to do both parks or more in 1 day if there is some things of interest but not enough to make more than a half day out of it..

Are you sure that you need hoppers? You definitely don't if you are going four days and plan on just one park each day. Maybe you can remove the hopper option and instead add on a fourth day.

I would absolutely add a day, or even two since you say you will be there for 6 days. Park ticket cost diminish SIGNIFICANTLY. This being said, unless you are wanting to book fast passes, you can always add once you arrive. I think for first timers, two days at MK are a must, and at least visit each of the other parks once.

See it all! We like to hop, though we have a main park each day. I always like to start and end in MK though.

hmmm... can I manipulate my tickets online at mydisneyexp ... for instance .. change the park hopper to 4 days not park hopper... we also have waterparks and fun... wich adds a little more to the pot

You will need to call to make adjustments like that. The Hopper may be non-refundable, but if it's a package you can usually make changes. Just ask.

For that limited a stay I would never add the Water Park and more feature. There are Water Parks all over the country, but only 1 Walt Disney World. I would definitely add at least one more day. With children the ages of yours, ideally I would plan 2 days MK and 1 day at each of the other 3 parks. We always hop as well. I think the Hoppers are a good investment.

OR now with the great new stuff at nighttime AK, DO a later morning few shows at HS (Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid) and then hopefully to AK, have a nice lunch at Tusker House with ADR for new show, and spend the late afternoon and evening at AK. You could fit in Lion King, Nemo and the nighttime safari and awakening without rushing through.
Your girls would love it. I agree with pp about The water parks, they're a lot of fun, but the parks, are where I'd concentrate my time.
MK is a full day for sure, and perhaps another half day. you could always split your Epcot day (Are they Anna and Elsa fans) with a morning at Akershus to meet princesses, and then Anna and Elsa, and whatever else you would like to do at Epcot, then monorail over to MK for more of what you missed. Just my thoughts

thanks all ..my wife booked the waterparks so it doesn't look like you can downgrade your tickets.. only upgrade... so we probably only add another day

I would definitely add a day...we are also a fan of park hoppers. We do one park in the AM and then another in the PM. I would say hit all 4 parks. I don't think I could skip one but then again, I don't think I could do MK for just 1 day....So yes, add the fourth day!!!!

We just upgraded from a 4 day park hopper with water option to a 5 day park hopper with water option.. just to have an option.. and it was something like $15.00 more to upgrade per person.. so well worth it.

I would do the park hopper option.
Once you arrive, you may find that your DDs want to explore EVERY INCH of MK & will be thrilled at AK for its animals and the "Africa feel" - but might yawn at everything in Epcot after going on Soarin, Frozen, TestTrack, etc.
At the moment, IMHO, DHS is a yawner unless you grew up in SoCal (in the "olden days") or your DDs are Toy Story Mania fans.

I say all that, but it doesn't apply IF you are like many of us who just like being in any Disney park.

Without a doubt, I'd add another day (at least) in order to do every park. We rarely hop, even after all our trips and knowing our way around, because there is just so much to do-especially for first timers. Whatever you decide, have a wonderful first trip!

I would include Epcot as your girls would likely want to ride Frozen Ever After, and perhaps also meet Anna and Elsa in their new Sommerhaus.
