Park Capacity + Reservations

Hello - we are scheduled for a Fireworks Dessert Party on Sunday, November 10. Touring Plans is predicting a '10' for crowd level....If we have a dessert party will they still let us in if the park is at capacity?!

You would be among the last groups to be denied entry. Closure is handled in phases, and the first group to be excluded would be offsite guests with no reservations or fast passes. It gets more and more restrictive from there. Park closures are pretty rare and usually only happen at MK over Christmas and New Years. Even a "10" crowd level is below the threshold for phased closures. It is highly unlikely they would reach a total closure on that date. Have fun!

I've been there the last 5 years that weekend (and will actually be at MK on Nov. 10 as well). It's nowhere near the crowds you get during the holidays. The park will not reach capacity. It's crowded but very manageable.

But smart move on the dessert party. I did it last year and because of MVMCP and the relatively few days for non-party fireworks, the hub was the worst I've ever seen it. That location at that time is definitely a 10! The garden was a pleasure!

Mk hasn't reached a stage 4 closure in over a decade, so I wouldn't worry about it. But, to answer your question, no one gets in if the park reaches stage 4
