Park Bridal Shoots

I won't be a DFTW bride (likely getting married at Cypress Grove) but I understand I can still have a park bridal shoot at Epcot/HS/AK

My choice would be Epcot and HS

I understand 1 park costs $650 but I have read conflicting information about having a second shoot - $900 or $1300

Plus an additional $300 for the high res CD

Can anyone clarify the correct price for 2 parks?
Can you request a photographer or is one just allocated to you?
When should you book?
When would balance be payable?
How much deposit would be required?
What time would the shoot begin? And how long would each one last?

Sorry for all the questions  Thanks

Let's see...for shoots other than MK, it is $650 per park. I asked my consultant if DFAP would do a group discount like they do when you combine an MK shoot with another park, and he said maybe but needed to have them draw up some figures. DFTW brides can book 12 months out. I'd call Disney photography to book it if you are within that time frame. You can request a certain photographer, but their availability can not be guaranteed. The shoots would start before park opening and last about an hour each.

I was told it would normally be $900 for the two non-MK park shoots. We are being picked up at AKL at 6:15am
6:45-7:45am- Photo Shoot at Studios
8-9:00am-Photos at Epcot
Depart Epcot by 9am.

Hope that helps Natalie :thumbsup2

Thanks Hayley, I thought about $900 too but read somewhere else that it's $1300 (i.e. double) and DEP haven't got back to me yet, damn time difference! Thanks for your timings...I said to Matt early at Studios would be better because of the spooky TOT ones, and at least it looks like not such an early pick up too Every cloud!!!!

I had a reply from DEP and thought I'd post their response for others who may be interested

If you are extending your original shoot in the same location by one hour, that would be $200. If you want a different location, we would need to schedule a different time and it would be a separate session for $650 ($450 for Resort bridal). The archival disc with copyright release can print up to 30x40 and is $750

So no discount for combining the 2 shoots and the disc is $750...that's extortionate!

What on earth is going on?! They told me a matter of days ago the normal price for 2 non-MK parks was $900!! That's daylight robbery!!

I read somewhere (and im not sure where now... sorry!) that there are two types of disc hi-res and archival disc and the archival one is alot more expensive!

The high-res is $750, and prints up to 8x10. The archival is $1000.00, and prints...I'm not sure, larger than life maybe lol. That's what they were in Feb. anyway!

I know and if it were maybe we'd do it. TBH the thing that's putting us off the most is the cost of the disc as we'd like to use the images to get canvas prints or something but $700 is a huge amount of money. We're going to have a shoot on the cruise instead!
