My Disney Trip last month got cancelled due to the big winter storm causing my flight to be canceled. My mom and I just rebooked down at the Contemporary in two weeks only to find out that every theme park is pretty much booked. What are the chances that availability opens up last minute or should I just end up canceling this trip too?

I just looked at the park availability calendar. The only days that are completely booked for all parks for the Resort Guests group are next week: the 15th-18th. For the week of the 22nd (two weeks from now), HS is booked up every day, MK is booked up Sun, Mon, Tues and Thurs, but AK and EP are available every day. Of course, I imagine you don't want to only go to AK and EP. I would expect some more availability for MK and HS to open up in the next two weeks, but it may then disappear fast. If you don't cancel your trip, you will need to keep an eye on it. You're probably not the only one traveling then that will be looking out for park reservations.

Park availability changes often as people drop their reservations and occasionally Disney reallocates the buckets. Keep an eye on the availability calendar, checking more than once each day.

I live in Michigan and fly down to Tampa on the 16th and fly back the 23rd. DM and me have a stay booked at the CR the 17th-19th. Only a short two night, three day trip so that's where my problem is. Epcot on the 19th is the only park available during the time we are there.

I'll keep checking multiple times a day but I'm starting to think the universe doesn't want to go to Disney this year. :sad1:

How do you check availability for non resort guests before purchasing tickets? When I am on the park ticket page it says to check availability first before buying but it doesn’t say what category that is?

With obsessive refreshing was able to get a HS 3/17 & 3/19 along with AK on 3/18. Really want to try for a MK but am scared to drop any of the reservations in case I'm not able to quickly rebook them. Wish they had a modify button but am happy to have something. Hoping I can park hop in the afternoon to MK on the first two days.

Edit: Dropped AK real quick to see about MK and it was available. :) I might try to switch the 3/19 HS to AK closer to the trip but for now am very content/thankful that I was able to get HS and MK.
