Park and Cruise at Comfort Inn??

We're looking to stay at the Comfort Inn (Cocoa Beach) the night before our cruise and leave the car parked there. They have the package where you can shuttle from the hotel. Does anyone have any reviews of this? They also have the parking voucher option, which I might prefer, because when we get off the cruise, then we can pack the vehicle and leave. I'm not sure if it's worth saving a few bucks to have to wait for the shuttle. Reviews or advice? Thanks!

The parking and return shuttle for two cost only $16 at the hotel (total plus tip) versus $9.60 per day at the Port (40% rate) so there is a cost difference especially over 7 days.

The hotel shuttles run on time and it is just a short trip (under 10 minutes) so from a convenience point of view it is not that bad - but it may make two or three stops at different terminals to drop/pick passengers. Your vehicle will be parked in the hot sun and there are no fences (as you can see in the picture). There have been no reports of vandalism of vehicles a local hotels lately but the possibility always exist when cars are parked practically along the sidewalk.

I always recommend the convenience of parking shipside in the shaded, secure parking garage especially when the 40% discount is available. At the end of your cruise the family is tired and it may be steaming hot and dealing with hotel shuttle buses and a piping hot car (in summer the cars do not cool much during the night) just to save < $50 is not worth it (in my opinion!)

We have done both, a little closer hotel for shuttle.

We prefer the 40% off and park port.

The shuttle to the ship we had an assigned time. Shuttle back, we had to wait for our turn in line for empty van.
