Ok, just wrote a lengthy post on this subject and LOST it  so I'm trying again with a very abbreviated version!!!!

Have one day to go to WDW over Thanksgiving weekend, me and my mid-70s dad. Main question is in re: to AK - I've heard paths are narrow so when crowded you can feel squeezed in (he tends towards claustrophobia). Also I've heard it described as a "half-day" park because it's smaller (I haven't been to it yet). Is it worth the full $63 ticket for one day, when it's the only park you can go to?

We've done Epcot together; dad loved it. Also think he'd like MGM.
Any advice??

TIA!

Even though AK has my favorite show "It's A Bug's Life", my family did not really enjoy this park. It is a very relaxing park. The theming is beautiful. I liked MGM alot, the shows are great. If I only had 1 day I would do MGM and catch as many shows as I could.
