I know, I've been watching the water level of my pool rise higher and higher all day... I'm waiting for DH to come home so I can send him out and drain it
It's so cold too - I went over to the mall to warm up. I'd rather use their electricity than mine!

in recently splurged and bought a wool knit long line cardigan for our usa trip this year... last year i just took summer weight drape-y cardigans and just a hoodie and kinda froze a little.. as we will be there roughly a month later this year, i figured i would need it, but i'd get very little wear out of it as we live in brisbane and it's not even that cold here in winter...

long story short, i've been wearing trackpants and that wool knit cardigan for the last 2 days, ALL THE WHILE i've been dragging a blanket around with me like some 2 year old and using that to help keep warm as well...

what the hell, weather? rain and wind and cold?? this doesn't seem very brisbane-like to me!!! our house wasn't built to keep cold out!!

but omg, yay for parity!!! i might not have to sell a kidney or resort to 'the client list' to finance this trip yet...

I was looking at the graph this morning and it's climbing ever so slowly
