O.K., we are going to spend 1 nite in Vegas on our trip down to DLR. I have been searching everywhere for a nice hotel, center strip, good price (of course). I found Paris Las Vegas for $129.00. I think that is a pretty good rate. Is it? I have never been to Vegas, and don't really know all the ins and outs like I do for a Disney trip. Has anyone here stayed at the Paris resort? How is it? Any info is appreciated!!! Thank you all so much! :cool1:

I am from Las Vegas, my family still lives in LV, and I think the Paris is a great hotel, great atmosphere! I hadn't been down the the strip for ages, but recently my DH and I went to see all the new hotels I hadn't seen. I think that you will like it there. They have living statues like in epcot, really cool and authentic looking theming, and we have been to the real Paris! Another thing that we always love to do is go to the Caesar's Palace Forum shops...not to buy (pretty expensive) but they have a free center show with animatronics and a huge aquarium. If you have time, go look around. (great restaraunts in there too!) But if you only have one night, then maybe you will not have time for much. Have a great trip!

I love staying at the Paris. Nice place. Great location - right in mid strip. Make sure to see the bellagio fountains, and to get a room with a view of them if you can. They have a great breakfast buffet and pretty good rewards (or did a couple years ago) if you join their frequent player club.
Rooms are pretty nice. Lots of restaurants to choose from. I've heard Mon Ami Gabi is very good - and you can sit outside (weather permitting) with a gerat view of the fountains.
The Paris is connected to Ballys which is an older hotel, but still nice.
Have a wonderful trip!

You will love the Paris. I spent some time there during the summer and I loved it. The rooms are spacious (compared to other vegas hotels) and are very nice. Be sure to take a picure infront of the Eifel tower out on the pool deck area. There is a picture spot there and its best to take it at night. Had a great time there and Im sure you will too.

Is it a weekend or weekday & did you book direct from the hotel? If so ask for a AAA rate or a senior rate (if you qualify); I used to work there (3 yrs ago!). The buffet is very nice + Mon Ami Gabi is also very nice (great quiche!). There is a pastry shop called Le Notre that sells some very tasty things.

it is a Sunday nite stay. We will arrive in Vegas in the a.m., try for early check in, and start walking the strip to see the sites. We will have most of the day and all evening/ nite to see all that the strip has to offer. We really won't be spending alot of time at the hotel, but I wanted to be center strip to try to make the walking easier. I figure we can expolre one end of the strip, take a breather at Paris, then explore the other end. We may drive downtown in the evening to see the Fremont light show, it really depends on if we are too worn out.
The next day (Monday), we will head out in the a.m., stopping at Hoover Dam for the Dam Tour, then head out to Anaheim and DISNEYLAND!!! :cheer2:
