Sounds like fun Jackie

I'm going to pop this over on the DLP Forums, where you'll get lots of help :thumbsup2

Mandy :)

I can't help with the Paris hotel, but I just wanted to let you know that if you can book your chosen DLP hotel before 30th September, you should get a nice discount. :) This offer is for arrivals from the 6th to 31st January.

I've stayed in many different Paris hotels. One bit of advice would be to look on tripadvisor before you book anything! Just type the name of the hotel you're thinking of booking into the search engine and it will give you candid traveller reviews as well as traveller photos of the hotel.

Some hotels are awful so be careful where you book. If you're looking for somewhere well located and cheap may I suggest the Hotel De la Sorbonne. It's only 2stars but it is clean and is located next to the Sorbonne (Paris University) is a minutes walk from both the Luxemberg Gardens and the Pantheon. You can walk to The Louvre or Notre Dame within 10mins. It's a 1 minute walk from the Luxembourg RER station that is on the same line as CDG airport. The only drawback of this hotel is the rooms are very small.

They usually have rooms for under £50 a night in January which is pretty good for Paris! www.hotelsorbonne.com

If you're looking for somewhere a little more expensive (still cheap!) try the Hotel Langlois. It's a very old fashioned hotel but the rooms are large. It's around £80 a night for a double room. http://www.hotel-langlois.com/

If you need any more recommendations let me know, I've stayed in more Paris hotels then I can remember!

Hi Jackie, nice to see you over here!

It's very easy to travel to/from Disney and Paris. If you do decide to stay at DLRP have you got any idea which hotel you will choose? I don't know if you've been to DLRP before or not, but there's info about all the hotels in the Hotel FAQ sticky.

Wow nice deal. Who are you flying with?
we are flying with Ryan air to the airport that is out side Paris

Thanks everyone of the info
and thank you happy Tappy for the links to the hotels I'm going to check them out now
we have been to paris once before about 10 years ago and never been to disney there
I haven't told DH yet , might keep it for his xmas present

Never been on the Disneyland paris thread before,
would a day and a half be enought time for the parks

If you're visiting on weekdays it should be plenty. The parks are very quiet in January. Most rides will be walk-ons! If you're going at the weekend it will be a little bit busier but probably still quite quiet.
