Well The title says it all really, would really like to go febuary half term staying in the Santa Fe :) Um Anything you can tell me really, Weather? Crowds? Anything else!

Many Thanks! :D

Hi. We went in February 08 and are planning to return feb 09!!

Weather wise, it was dry, clear but absolutely FREEZING:eek: ! Our DS (3) needed a ski suit on over his standard clothes and jacket.

Crowd wise, it was brilliant. We went thursday to sunday and really noticed the crowd change on the weekend in comparison to midweek.

Maybe we will see you there!?!?!

Oooh Thanks for the quick reply! :D

Aww! We went in August last year for my sisters 18th and it was freezing even then!! So the snow suit doesnt surprise me! Lol! Did it not snow at all then? I'd Love the snow! Dont see it very much! :(

Ahh Thats good about the crowds, did you go in the halfterm then? Also did you fly there, if so what company did you use, and how much did you spend on flights?

Many thanks!

We went Feb 2007 and stayed at Santa Fe. It was very cold and poured with rain (we even had a hail storm on the drive down that made us have to stop driving until it eased up.)

We went into Paris one day and did an open top bus trip (no rain that day, but brrrrrrrr!.)

We went midweek and the crowds weren't heavy but some things weren't open, including some restaurants.

All in all it was a wonderful trip despite the weather.

We went in Feb 2006 from a Wednesday to Sunday. It was very quiet on the weekdays and therefore you could get a lot of rides done during a day. A number of the restaurants were closed. It was very cold but dry while we were there but at least with short queues you were not standing still for too long.

We also went in Feb 2008 and it was so cold!! We were really glad we were in the DLH as we could nip back and have a quick warm every so often.

When we came back I developed the flu and felt really ill for a few weeks.

Saying that it was the best DLP trip as we didn't have one drop of rain - unlike every other DLP trip we've done!

We went to Paris proper (not DLP) in Feb 07 for a few days and the weather was glorious. One day we were walking round in short sleeves with no coats or jumpers at all and sat in the sun by the river enjoying an icecream.
So you could be lucky

:goodvibes Thanks for all the replies! I'm really excited!!

Please keep posting! I like to know as much as i can !

We went in Feb this year it bright, sunny and sometimes I even took my coat off and walked round in my tee-shirt! DH says I was having a hot flush though as no one else seemed quite this warm. For me though it was perfect Disney weather, and relatively crowd-free.

Hi,

I went to the Santa Fe this year in Feb Half Term from Sunday to Friday. I thought the weather was gorgeous! The only day drizzling a bit was the Wednesday and we had booked the coach tour of Paris that day so it was fine.

We had a lovely time, sitting waiting for the parades eating our ice creams! We needed coats/jackets but the sun was shining and our photos all show bright blue skies!

The Santa Fe was great for us. We walked home from the Parks most evenings through Disney Village and along the river. It was about 15 minutes to walk but in the evenings it was a lovely stroll.

Be prepared to get up early though - We were in the Cantina for breakfast by 7am, and when we came out at about 7:45am we could not believe the queue to get in! It was LONG. Anyone thinking of going for breakfast between 8am and 9am must be mad.

You will have a great time - we did!

We went Feb half term week this year. Crowds weren't too bad - obviously lots of Brits! For the children we found thermals and ski suits really helped. We were there all week and the last couple of days were really bitterly cold, but the others not bad and no rain. We'd definitely go again then.

Thank You For All The Replys! :goodvibes

We Plan to fly with easy jet, but as they do not sell flights yet for this time I can not check prices, does anybody know roughly how much these will cost in halfterm in Febuary? Flying from Bristol if thats any help..

Many thanks!

We travelled from Edinburgh with Easyjet in Feb and paid £220 for the 4 of us!!!!!!!!!!!

We too have been keeping an eye out for next febs prices to come on sale but, due to the fuel increases, do not expect to be so lucky this time:sad2:

I spoke to someone at Easyjet on friday and they thought the prices should be available in the 1st week of July.

Let me know if you see them on sale before me :thumbsup2
