Paris hotels near Eiffel Tower?

I am trying to find a nice hotel very close to the Eiffel tower with an Eiffel tower view. We are looking for a room for 3 nights and would like to pay a max of $250/night. I have never been to Paris so I know nothing about the hotels there. I really want a parisian style building with juliet balcony. I was looking at Le Marquis Eiffel but I can't figure out how the Eiffel tower view is. I was also looking at the Splendid hotel Paris in a Superior room. But I am a little worried about the rooms itself. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'd suggest you go and ask on TA as they might be able to find you an appartment that would correspond to your criteria

Both these hotels are in a very residential, safe middle class neighbourhood and are well served by the metro.

You are not going to get a great view of the ET from either of them though as they are both a good 15-20 minute walk to the base of the ET. They are both in side streets.

If you want a full ET view you are going to have to go nearer the river or alternatively go higher ie Montmarte where you can look across and down at the ET.

If it's your first visit to Paris maybe look at one of the central arrondissiments like the 4/5/6 as you will spend less time in the transports and be closer to the main sights
