Ok - you guys gave me great advice on a London hotel...now we have one last piece to our puzzle. We will be spending 3 nights at the Disneyland Hotel, but then we will move into Paris for 3 more nights before flying out of CDG. I am looking at either Hotel Cluny Sorbonne or Hotel Elysees Union .

Any thoughts?

I've stayed in the Cluny Sorbonne and thought it was great value for such a superb location. It is in the Latin Quarter, opposite the Sorbonne and just round the corner from a nice square with cafes and restaurants. The hotel is old fashioned and small which I think is part of its charm as long as you are prepared for a very small room with dated furniture and decor and a shower room no bigger than you would get in a ferry cabin. Even the lift is so tiny that there is only room to squeeze one person and a suitcase in if you don't want to climb the winding staircase to the top. Might be a bit of a shock after coming from the DLH! :rotfl: However it has a satisfactorily French feel to it, the staff are friendly and let you leave luggage there on your check out day and there is excellent free WiFi coverage in the rooms. Hope this helps your decision process and whatever you decide have a fantastic trip! :goodvibes
