As I have said in several polls or threads on when I was going to WDW, I won't be going to WDW till December 2002. Well my parents just talked to me. They had told me before that they were visiting friends in Palmsprings, Florida but plans changed and they are going to WDW without me! This was said about 10 days before they go. They said that tickets are too expensive now for me to go.

Have your parents ever done these sort of things to you?

At the moments are at DIS CON in WDW.
AT first it was only my mom that was going so i was fine and then about a month ago i found out my dad was going too! So i know exactly how you feel.
My grandparents came up to stay with me and my sibs and it's been horrible!

They haven't yet. I doubt my mom would go without me because I am into Disney as much as she is (my dad isn't very enthusiastic). If she did she would regret it, lol

nope!

my mom would never do that

but my parents might to go b/c my dad has a conference in Orlando but it will be like a week after we get back so its not that big of a deal.

It usually wouldn't be a problem but since September 11th, ticket prices have gone up and you can't change the names on the tickets.

No, my mom & dad would not do that to me. The only reason they would do it is if they won a trip for two.

LOL, daughter of amid chaos. I met up with your mom a bunch of times down there!! I know they met at the Plymouth meet and then when we were down in Florida we were with your mom at a few mini-meets and then we came home on the same flight as her so we were also talking in the airport. My parents wouldn't leave me at home (at least I don't think they would), cuz they know I love Disney. They wouldn't make me go if I didn't want to but that's never going to happen!! I know I won't be with them every trip b/c of DVC and i'm not going to be able to go all the time for 40 years, but I'll go on my own or with friends or something

Yep they have done that before, but not going to WDW. They went to Hawaii and left us (my sis and I) behind...grrr I was so jealous...although it was for their 25th wedding aniversary so I understood, but my mom had promised that her next trip to Hawaii would be with the family, and then she decides to go with my dad!
