Parents with AP

My parents have an AP and will be going to WDW with us. They are able to get two room's with the AP. I know they have to check in at the same time but... can I pay for our room with my credit card while using the BRP rate from them?? and if I can.. and they have the dining plan special...(I can wish can't I?) would I be able to get it when I check in and only my family buy it?? and does anyone see a problem with us doing it?? I wouldn't want any problems with anyone on this board!!!

you will not be able to get the dining plan. It is only available if you book at rack rate (or with a AAA discount through a AAA travel agent) and purchase tickets as well (although a 1 day is enough). All people in a single room have to be on the same plan.

So if you're getting BR for the rooms, you won't have the dining plan.

If your parents book two rooms using the BRP, they will have to use their credit card for the non-refundable deposit because the name on the credit card has to match the AP holder. But once you check in, you can pay for the rest of your room with your credit card and your parents can pay for their room with their credit card. I'm sure you can figure out how to reimburse your parent for the deposit.

When we checked in with my sister, they moved the entire deposit over to my room, and she paid for her total with her credit card.

Yes, you should be able to pay for your room with your credit card upon check-in. Also, I was told that both rooms do not need to check-in together (if this isn't true, I'm going to have to call them because my parents will probably be arriving a few hours before me for our Thanksgiving trip).

My family is going for Thanksgiving and DH & I have APs, but my dad is paying for both rooms. I put the deposit on my credit card and he wrote me a check for the total. I'll have him put his credit card on both rooms when he arrives so he can take care of the bill.
